Pandemia Covid-19 krijoi situata të paimagjinuara më parë, ku të gjithë duhet të braktisnim rutinën tonë të përditshme; ambientet e përbashkëta të punës, mësimin në bankat e shkollës, kohën me miqtë, takimet në familjen e madhe, apo shijimin e një koncerti, teatri apo një aktiviteti të përbashkët ku hapësira personale vështirësisht i kalonte 20-30 cm; dhe menjëherë, me urgjencë nisëm një tjetër stil jetese, në mbrojtje të shëndetit të gjithësecilit nga ne
Qëndrimi brenda në shtëpi, në familjet tona të vogla ishte i detyrueshëm dhe aspak i lehtë, madje do të thoja se tronditi themelet e shoqërisë dhe na vendosi mbi shinat e një realiteti të ri online. Ndërkohë që një pjesë e shoqërisë pati mundësinë të mos e ndërpriste punën duke punuar nga shtëpia, shumë të tjerë u gjendën të papunë, në vështirësi të thella ekonomike dhe të papërgatitur psikologjikisht dhe financiarisht për një situatë kaq delikate si pandemia dhe mbi të gjitha të pasigurtë për të ardhmen.
Familja është e shtrenjtë për secilin prej nesh. Në fund të ditës, secili prej nesh mezi pret të kthehet në familje tek njerëzit e dashur sepse marrëdhëniet me ta janë të vyera e të pazëvendësueshme.
Ritmi i vrullshëm i jetës së përditshme na kishte bërë të vraponim dhe për shumë pak çaste të ndalonim për të shijuar familjet tona, frytin e punës sonë të përditshme, por edhe t’i kushtonim kohën e mjaftueshme vetvetes.
Gjatë kësaj periudhe specialistë të fushës së psikologjisë sugjeruan aktivitete të larmishme në familje, ku të gjithë, pavarësisht moshës mund të bëheshin pjesë e lojrave të ndryshme dhe të mos ndjenin peshën e ‘izolimit’. Megjithatë duke iu thënë qendroni në shtëpi dhe shijoni familjen tuaj, nuk po thoshim se duhej të harronim hallet…vendin e punës apo sigurimin e të hollave për të blerë ushqim, jo aspak…problemet ishin dhe janë aty me ne, bashkëshoqëruese, por ndërkohë që familjet mendonin për rrugëzgjidhje dhe World Vision e po ashtu edhe organizata të tjera humanitare në Shqipëri e në Kosovë po përpiqeshin të lehtësonin në plotësimin e nevojat më emergjente të sa më shumë familjeve, të gjithë kishin nevojë për pak ‘ajër’…
Familjet kishin nevojë për një shtysë që në gjithë këtë situatë plot sfida dhe të panjohura, të shihnin edhe anën tjetër të medaljes.
Kështu nisi sfida e familjes e cila përreth 3 muaj e që përfshiu 180 familje, 782 pjesëmarrës (367 të rritur dhe 415 fëmijë) të organizuar në 28 grupe mbështetëse prindërimi, që momentet e bukura i fiksuan me njëri tjetrin fiksuan në qindra mijëra shkrepje.
Prandaj fotot e kësaj ekspozite janë të gjalla. Aty nuk ka modele, impostime dhe as foto cilësore, por mund të lexoni portretet dhe të dialogoni me gjestet, ato flasin më shumë se fjalët. Mos u çudisni nëse ndër foto do të njihni një familjar, një mik apo një shoqe shkolle. Kjo është ekspozita juaj.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought upon us situations we had never even imagined before, in which we all had to give up our everyday routine; common work environments, learning at school, spending time with friends, meeting all of our relatives, enjoying a concert, play or have common activities where personal space was less than 20-30 cm; and all of the sudden we had to live in a new lifestyle to protect the health of each and every one of us.
Staying indoors at home with our families was compulsory and not easy at all, I would even dare say it rocked the foundation of society as we know it and put us on the tracks of a new online reality. While a part of society had the possibility to continue working from home, many others found themselves unemployed, in deep financial problems and psychologically and financially unprepared for such a delicate pandemic and uncertainty for the future.
Family is what we all hold most dear. At the end of the day, each one of us can’t wait to go back home to their loved ones, because the relationships with them are valuable and irreplaceable.
The hectic pace of daily life made us run constantly and stop only for a few moments to enjoy our families, the outcomes of our daily work, but also devote some time to ourselves.
During this period, specialists in the field of psychology suggested a variety of family activities, where everyone, regardless of age, could become part of various games and not feel the weight of ‘isolation’. However, by telling you to stay home and enjoy your family, we were not telling you to forget all about your worries… your job or how to make money to buy food, no, not at all… the problems were there, they accompanied us, but while families were thinking of a solution, World Vision and other humanitarian organizations in Albania and Kosovo were trying to facilitate meeting the ends of immediate needs for as many families as possible, everyone needed some “air”.
Families needed a push, so that everyone in this challenging situation could see the other side of the coin.
This is how “Stay at home family challenge” began, which in 3 months included 180 families, 782 participants (367 adults and 415 children) organized in 28 parenting support groups that captured their most beautiful moments with each other in hundreds of thousands of shots.
That is why the pictures in this gallery are alive. There are no models, there was no posing and the pictures are not even of good quality, but you can read the portraits and the gestures, as they speak more than words.
